Blew it

Well I guess I just blew it didn't I. Day 4 of blogging daily and only my 2nd post. Believe me when I say my reasons are quite valid. Maybe only to me, but...blah blah blah. I feel like the teacher in Charlie Brown...Wa, wa, wa, waaa, wa. You don't need my excuses!

So I thought I'd share our Halloween with you. You know...I thought I had already done it? But it must have been on Facebook or Twitter. Such the online social butterfly that I am *coughcoughtimewastercough*.

Here's our 3 trick-or-treaters...
My sister and her family spent the night with us. So it was extra fun :)

Monkey Moo as an incredible Harry Potter...
Little Bean as the "Ferocious" Dragon (from Harry Potter)...
We had to tell him that so he'd put the costume on. He kept changing his mind and wanted to be Harry Potter like Monkey Moo. This did the trick.

And finally my little niece as The Great Pumpkin...
So darn cute!!! I love that both of my boys wore this very costume when they were her age.

Aside from it being a little messy outside, it wasn't too bad for trick-or-treating.
Monkey Moo was pretty much finished before he got started. He had had enough when we finished our street. Little Bean, however, would have gone all night. His eyes lit up everytime a new treat entered his bag. Announcing what it was to everyone.

When we got home, the kids enjoyed handing out candy for a little while before eating supper (we had ghostly shepherds pie and mummy dogs)...
I only got a picture of the ghosts. I forgot to take the rest.

After the kids finally went to sleep, we enjoyed a few grown-up drinks, some halloweenified app's, and a vintage VHS copy of Halloween.

It was Halloween Perfection! Loved that it was on a Saturday.
